The cousins and the grandparents rolled out as well, as we skated to Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, and the Cha Cha Slide. Enjoy the slideshow!

On Saturday we invited several of her first grade friends to Glitterbox to get their nails done. Elle chose a Christmas theme for her fingernails and all her friends followed suit. I think that Maye had the best time of all. She didn’t know what to do with herself when she got some specialized attention on her fingers and toes. I guess it pays to be the younger sister!

Hold on, there is more. Wait till you see the skating party we had on Sunday!! A few things to look out for: size 15 skates, me and my crazy sister, and my mother-in-law getting her roller derby on.

i might suggest, stopping what you are doing, searching for your favorite dance music and then coming back to watch this with it playing. it doubles or triples the laughter. the cheese factor is off the charts with this old school and poorly executed animation, but its already so ridiculous anyway, that i don’t really care.

now i’m told that my husband did the same thing, but given the recent soccer pictures of Silas and these pictures of Joe T., it was too hilarious to pass up. two pretty studly athletes, two similar faces that will make you laugh out loud.

she turned 2 on Sunday and i think immediately turned on the terribles. we have ourselves a little opinionated, selective-hearing, dare to defy mom and dad little girl on our hands. she is such a treasure and always keeps us entertained. she is a 4 year old trapped in a 2 year old body. fearless, creative, and always ready to sing, dance, and investigate what’s on the other side of the door.

not much more hair at one year, but the teeth and grin are adorable!

thanks to the utterly fabulous rick’s bakery for keeping our family fully supplied with sugary substances.

we’ve collected quite a few younger sisters over the past few years amongst our friends. see what i mean, terrible twos showed UP on Sunday!

one of the two labs that we use (whcc) was running a special the week before v-day, so we took full advantage and ordered an amazing two-sided 5×7 card with a pearl finish. holy moly it was gorgeous! we’ve really enjoyed hearing from our friends and family as the card has slowly trickled out across the country.

why a valentines card you ask? i think the main reason is that during our crazy christmas season it is the one thing that we can make room for in another place during the year. between two family birthdays, picture orders and christmas shopping our december is just packed! also, it is so fun to get a little something that may be unexpected, so a family valentines card it is! this is the fourth installment for our card and i’m sure many more to come.
