Aaryn was given an incredible privilege as a graduation gift to have her pictures taken at Horton Farms in Bentonville. We got to roam around the property, taking it all in while we snapped away for her senior pictures. She was a natural, blending her adorable little smile with her strong and fresh relaxed pose. I took pictures of Aaryn’s sister Aubry back in 2008 for her senior pictures as well. Guess now I’m going to have to wait and hope I get to take pictures at their weddings!

Tonight my family and i will go the annual ‘Barn Bash’ for the high school students at our church. Bob Lloyd always leads the square dancing. Ken always makes the fire. Students always crawl through the hay. There is a lot of flirting, smore eating, and cowboy hat wearing that goes on. We’ve brought our camera gear the past few years and have photographed some hilarious students. I can’t believe how much bigger our kids have gotten over the past 12 months! Wendy & Rodney Bates | Eureka Springs, AR Wedding

Wendy and Rodney came all the way from Colorado Springs to get married in the special little town of Eureka Springs. They of course chose the always beautiful Thorncrown Chapel to hold their ceremony. I am quite partial to Eureka, of course because my mother and sister both live there and I must say that my mom Linda might as well be the Mayor.

Wendy and Rodney had some incredible additions to the wedding. They brought their adorable dog, left in a spectacular Hot Rod and had their reception over looking beautiful beaver lake. They had such sweet friends and they all celebrated well the marriage of Wendy and Rodney! Enjoy the slide show.

Jessica & Sam | Fayetteville, AR Engagement

Jessica and Sam came to me for their engagment session a few weeks ago. Even though it was our first meeting, we quickly discovered that we had a good friend in common from our days at Kanakuk. That is why I love engagement sessions. They always allow me to get to know and learn about each couples personality, story, and unique flavor.

Given the summer heat, we waited until the late evening to get started and enjoyed some great moments as the sun started to set.

I have the privilege of photographing Sam and Jessica’s wedding in January 2011, and shortly thereafter, they will be moving to Sam’s family farm in north-central Arkansas. Thanks guys for being so incredibly sweet and for being so adorable around each other!

When my long-time friend Becky Bull emailed me and asked if I would meet her and her extended family for a photoshoot I nearly squealed out loud. She has been a dear friend of mine, going back to the days when my sister and I both cheered/pommed for the Hogs. Becky has such a dear and talented family.

Her husband Scott Bull was most well known for quarterbacking the Hogs from 72-75. Her son John Scott has recently launched an very promising iPhone app called fieldagent that actually pays you! Her daughter Leigh Ann is an English teacher at Bentonville HS and she married a former Hog as well, Ken Sandlin.

one of my favorite things that I get to offer my clients are collages of their pictures. we generally take three different pictures and combing them into one 10×20 picture. the pictures always complement each other well and its a great way to get more big pictures all in one place in their house!
